TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms for using Recovery Group Studio.
These business-to-business terms govern facility accounts, facilitator access, generated materials, acceptable use, and subscriptions.
Effective: August 31, 2026
1. Agreement and authority
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are authorized to act for your facility when you make administrative or billing decisions. If your organization has a signed agreement with Recovery Group Studio, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
2. What the service is
Recovery Group Studio is a planning, facilitation-material, and documentation-draft workspace for trained treatment professionals and group facilitators. It does not diagnose, make individualized treatment decisions, replace clinical judgment or supervision, provide emergency services, or replace the facility's electronic medical record.
3. No client identifiers
Do not enter client names, initials linked to a person, dates of birth, contact information, medical-record numbers, census or attendance lists, diagnoses tied to an individual, or other protected or identifying client information. The service is not offered as a repository for protected health information. Facilities remain responsible for their own privacy, documentation, clinical, and regulatory obligations.
4. Accounts and facility administration
Users must provide accurate account information, protect their credentials, and use only their own account. Facility administrators control invitations and roles for their facility. Recovery Group Studio may suspend compromised accounts, fraudulent access, or activity that threatens the service or other users.
5. Facilitator review
Generated sessions, sources, videos, handouts, slides, activities, and note drafts can contain errors or require adaptation. A qualified facilitator must review every output for accuracy, appropriateness, licensing, facility policy, population, level of care, and the actual group before use. Note drafts must be edited and verified before they are copied into an EMR.
6. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of original content you submit. You grant Recovery Group Studio the limited right to process that content to operate, secure, and improve the service. Subject to these Terms, your facility may use generated materials internally. Third-party books, videos, quotations, trademarks, and linked sources remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, impersonate clinical credentials, automate individualized treatment, store prohibited client information, bypass access or usage controls, resell account access, scrape the service, distribute malware, or interfere with platform security or availability.
8. Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are governed by the Billing Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Facility administrators are responsible for plan selection, recurring charges, seat assignments, payment methods, taxes, and timely cancellation.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features, models, sources, and integrations may change to improve quality, safety, performance, or legal compliance. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with an updated effective date.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Recovery Group Studio is not responsible for clinical decisions, emergencies, treatment outcomes, insurance reimbursement, regulatory compliance, or third-party content selected or used by a facility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel according to the Billing Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, nonpayment, or harm to the service. Sections that reasonably must continue—such as payment, ownership, disclaimers, and record-retention obligations—survive termination.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a signed agreement requires otherwise. Questions may be sent to support@recoverygroupstudio.com.
